Monday Miniatures - Salamander Jump Pack Intercessors

If you're reading this, it means I'm a moron who decided to paint until 11:00 at night because the idea of leaving a job unfinished didn't sit right with me.

These JPIs are the first green marines I've finished since having my second child, and for once, nearly everything went right for me.

I tried painting in sub-assemblies, basecoating the jump packs in black, which meant that the job got done just that little bit quicker.

My hobby progress was aided greatly by getting a spray booth for christmas, which meant that the green, whilst still thin and shitty, applied with no chunks in the top coat, which made me very happy.

I once again had hangups with the Vallejo Mecha Matte Varnish, which makes me think I'm going to have to try something else - I've got my eye on the AK Ultra Matte going forward, and might have to pick some up at Cancon.

Next up is a terminator librarian, as I weave characters in with rank and file to get closer to my next 2k Space Marine army.

Oh, there ain't no rest for the wicked...

Catch you next time,
