The hobby machine rolls on for another week, this time with the interwoven character between units - the Edgelord Phobos Librarian.
With a wicked sense of humour, a dark backstory, and a bad attitude, this edgy gent is out to make sure the last thing the enemies of the emperor see is a tip of his fedora.

Much like the Assault Intercessors before, painting this miniature did not require me to step out of my comfort zone from a colour theory perspective. I did chose to paint in sub-assemblies, but my dumb ass decided not to paint the tactical rock until I had glued the miniature back together, which was, as they say, a mistake.

Because I had forced myself to learn how to apply decals when painting up my Clan Ghost Bear models, I was actually able to use a cut-down decal for the shoulder-pad, and it was not difficult to do, thanks to the brothers Micro Set and Sol. So consider this an important lesson in painting other miniature types to expand your skillset.

My next unit will be a little different. And I'm going to keep it under my sleeve for now.
Catch you next time,
